Neutering /spaying your pet dog

Hello! Sorry for the pause. I've been busy and recovering from the fun I've been having over the weekend...hehehe

Today the topic would be about why should one neuter their pet dog.

Neutering prevents sexual health conditions such as testicular, prostatic or ovarian tumours. For females, it prevents the development of mammary tumours which can be fatal.

Neutering a female is very very important as unbred and unspayed females have high chances of developing a condition called pyometra (a uterine infection common in females) most people are unaware of this and lose their dogs to pyometra. Usually signs only show when it's about too late. So, if you have a female dog, pls spay them for their own good.

For males, castrating generally reduces aggression towards other males and reduce marking and mounting behavior and reduces straying.

If in doubt always speak to your trusted vet

Have a wonderful day.
